Critical Alert Systems, LLC (CAS) is committed to respecting and protecting your privacy. To that end, we have prepared this Privacy Policy to disclose and describe our information collection and use practices for this website (the Site). This Privacy Policy also explains the steps CAS has taken to secure your personal information that is submitted in connection with your registration for your use of this Site, the CAST Application and related Services. Finally, this Privacy Policy explains your options regarding the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information. By visiting the Site, you acknowledge and agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. CAS is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of any third party website that may be linked to or from the Site. Notice and Disclosure

Your use of the Site and the CAST Application and Services requires your registration on this Site and the entry of certain personal information regarding you and your use of the Application, Services and the Site. CAS may collect domain information from your visit to customize and improve your experience on our website.

CAS will not collect any personal information from you that you do not volunteer, and CAS will remain the sole custodian of all information collected on this Site. We do not sell, share, or rent this information to third parties except your employer or affiliated entity using the CAST Application and Services. If you input your personal information as part of the registration process, CAS collects information from and about you in several different ways via the Site:

• Registration. Before using certain parts of this Site and the CAST Application, you must complete an online registration form. During registration, you will be prompted to provide to CAS certain personal information, including but not limited to your name, and billing address(es), telephone number, and email address. In addition, CAS may ask you for information regarding your employer or affiliated organization. [In cases where you are the direct customer and user of the CAST Application and Services we require billing information, such as credit card information. Billing information is encrypted at all times and is stored on secure servers. This personal information is used for billing purposes, fulfilling your order for the Services, and communicating with you about your use of the Site, the Application and related Services, and for internal marketing purposes. If CAS encounters a problem when processing your registration, we will use your personal information to contact you.

• Email Addresses. Several locations of the Site permit you to enter your email address for various purposes, including, without limitation, the use of CAST & communications. [Your submissions for purposes of CAST are completely voluntary, so you have a choice whether to disclose information to CAS for these additional purposes.

• Automatically Generated and Collected Information. In addition to information that you volunteer as described above, the Site utilizes technologies to collect information and track your use of the Application, the Services and the Site. CAS will use this information to operate and maintain the Site, the Services and the CAST Application. In addition, the Site automatically recognizes the device from which you access this Site and may also log your Internet protocol (IP) address (which may indicate the location of your computing device on the Internet), Internet service provider, and date/time stamp for system administration, communications logs, internal marketing, and system troubleshooting.

• Age. CAS respects children's privacy and will not knowingly or intentionally collect personal information from children under age 13. As stated in the Terms and Conditions of Use, you have represented and warranted that you are at least are 18 years of age. If you are under the age of 18, do not, under any circumstance, use the Site, the Application or the Services and you should not submit any personal information to us.

CAS uses personal information only for the purposes for which it was collected and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

CAS may periodically send you email about new service developments. If you do not wish to receive such emails, simply click the unsubscribe link in any email you receive from us. Please note that CAS may have to communicate with you about your use of the Application, the Services and the Site and you cannot opt out of receiving such emails.

CAS will not sell, rent, trade, license or otherwise disclose your specific personal information or financial information to anyone, except that: (1) CAS uses third parties to perform specific functions on its behalf and it must disclose information to help those parties perform their services; (2) CAS must disclose your name and credit card number and information to financial services and credit card processing companies in order to process your orders; (3) CAS may be required to disclose such information in response to a legal process, order or investigation (for example, a subpoena or court order); (4) CAS may disclose personal information where disclosure is necessary to protect its legal rights or to protect itself or others (for example, in order to reduce the risk of fraud or illegal activities); and (5) CAS may acquire, merge with or be acquired by another company or it might sell some or all of its assets, and, in such a case, CAS may disclose your personal information to another company (but such disclosure will otherwise be subject to CAS Privacy Policy.

 

 

Data Security

CAS works to comply with all applicable date security and privacy laws and regulations and uses every reasonable precaution to insure the security of your data while using the CAST Application, the Services and this Site. CAS and its service providers use industry-standard firewalls, secure web servers (https), data encryption and authentication procedures, among other techniques, to maintain the security of your data and your online sessions. While CAS believes that it uses industry-standard precautions to safeguard your personal information, as is the case with all web sites it cannot guarantee complete security and hereby disclaims any representation and/or warranty of any type that these security measures will protect your data in all circumstances.

Opt Out and Corrections
