Integration of Active Directory as a single point of reference for authorization of users across the domain eases global nurse call management.
Microsoft’s Active Directory (AD) provides a common interface for organizing and maintaining information related to resources connected to a variety of network directories. Hospitals use their AD deployment to store information, control access, manage users and relationships, and distribute their authentication policies across their organizations.
Integrating AD with Critical Alert Nurse Call allows staff to log-in using the same set of credentials they use to access other hospital systems.
Network administrators can create users, assign privileges, manage domains, users and objects from a single location within their network, eliminating the need to provision staff more than once. As changes are made within Active Directory to staff names, permissions, roles etc., these changes are reflected within Critical Alert Nurse Call.
